FAQ–Donate

We receive FOOD and PERSONAL CARE ITEMS and CLOTHING donations every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7 to 8pm and every time the pantry is open:

  • Every Wednesday and Friday morning from 10:45am to 12:30pm
  • 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 9:00am to 11:00am
  • 2nd Tuesday evening of the month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

We also receive CLOTHING donations every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, every Monday from 10:00am to noon and every time the pantry is open:

How much of my monetary donation will go directly to client services?

Our operating budget is streamlined to direct approximately 86% of all monetary donations to our primary mission: food.

How can I make a monetary donation?

You can mail us a check made out to Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, Inc., P.O. Box 1, Ayer, MA 01432, donate by credit card or PayPal on our website, or visit the Pantry and drop off your donation in person.

How can I donate food and personal care items?

We accept donations during any open Pantry session (see our calendar on the home page) or on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You may also leave donations in any drop box throughout the community.

When can I donate clothing?

Gently-used, seasonably appropriate clothing is accepted every Monday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and each Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What type of food do you need most?

May I donate homemade goods?

State regulations prohibit us from being able to accept homemade goods for our clients.
