The gift of Food = Hope this Holiday Season at Loaves & Fishes The holidays are a wonderful time for us to reflect on our blessings and give thanks for what we have. All of us at Loaves & Fishes are thankful for your support, which allows us to serve our neighbors in need all year long. The holidays can be a challenge for our clients who struggle every day to make sure they have enough to eat. For some, a trip to Loaves & Fishes provides not only food, but hope.
♥Hope that they won’t have to worry about their next meal for a while

♥Hope that the information we provide on other programs will get them more help

♥Hope that their holidays will be just a little brighter thanks to the meals we provide

♥Hope that there will always be a welcoming smile and a helping hand from our volunteers whenever they visit the pantry

Last year we served 910 client families, representing 2,151 people. 280 of those families were new to the Pantry. To all of them we offer food, the chance to shop for gently used donated clothing for all family members and information on additional resources to help them through a difficult time.
Hunger doesn’t take a holiday. We need your help to provide food, and hope, to our neighbors in need. Thank you for your support!

Business After Hours

Fresh ProduceOn Wednesday, September 24th, many of you joined us at the Legislative Business After Hours event hosted by the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Mount Wachusett Community College.

IMG_7892We want to thank NVCOC for the opportunity. A very special thanks goes out to Lucia’s Tavola of Ayer for their donated catering services and staffing for the event, and to Sweet Creations by Gloria of Leominster for donating delicious treats.

Thanks to all who participated and came to see how we work.
