“Loaves & Fishes is saving my life. I’m 79 and my social security check just wasn’t enough to pay my bills and buy groceries. I had to get a job. I was tired, but doing ok for a while. When I lost my job, I lost hope and didn’t know what I was going to do. It was such a relief to see the poster for Loaves & Fishes at my grocery store.”
Summer is a time for family fun and relaxation, but for some, it’s a struggle. For many families, the loss of school breakfast and lunch means more meals and more mouths to feed on an already stretched budget. This summer, we’re offering extra bags of food for families with school-aged children packed with items for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
If you’re having a difficult time providing nutritious food for your children, please visit the Pantry – we can help.
Our friends at CISCO – Boxborough really make a difference! In addition to financial support which is very much appreciated, their employees are active volunteers too! Thanks to a wonderful crew of volunteers, our annual physical inventory was a breeze! Many others have joined us for sorting & shelf-stocking sessions which has really lightened the load. We are also grateful for the support of two very special gentlemen, Chris Bottger and Jason Pare. Chris and Jason drive our delivery truck to and from the Greater Boston Food Bank once each month!
We salute you CISCO – you are truly an outstanding partner and we’re beyond grateful for your support
