Since January, the Neighborhood Food Project has run a campaign to recruit 40 new neighborhoods in commemoration of the Pantry’s 40th Anniversary. All of the new neighborhood coordinators received a Loaves & Fishes t-shirt and were entered into a drawing for a gift certificate donated by Third Space Kitchen in Groton. In the photo above, Gina Ryan is presenting the winner of the drawing, Kerry McGee, with her prize.
With approximately 70 neighborhoods and 600 neighbors, the Neighborhood Food Project collected over 50,000 pounds of food this past fiscal year, which helped feed many in need. Learn about one of the easiest ways to help your hungry neighbors – The Neighborhood Food Project.
