Shout Out to the Young People!

The amazing young people in our community went above and beyond this holiday season – they volunteered, they organized food drives, and they helped collect thousands of pounds of food for our neighbors in need.

Many hardworking kids at local schools collected impressive amounts of food during their holiday food drives to support the pantry –
Littleton Public Schools – over 1600 pounds
Harvard Public Schools – over 1600 pounds
Groton Public Schools – over 600 pounds

Quinn Johnson and Delaney Gannetta went door to door in their Littleton neighborhood and coordinated a food drive that collected 289 pounds of food for the Pantry! What hard workers!

Jack Remond and Michael Shufrin, members of the Littleton High School National Honor Society, volunteered to help sell raffle tickets and spread the word about the Pantry during the Littleton Holiday Bazaar!

The 4th-grade student council at Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton organized a food drive with a goal of providing holiday dinners for 24 families. They collected 467 pounds of food and $300 in gift cards! Many families will be eating a delicious holiday dinner thanks to these thoughtful students!
