This time of year we usually have a slight shortage of Open Pantry volunteers. If you’ve been thinking about volunteering or know someone that might want to help, are over 18, able to treat clients with kindness, respect and confidentiality, and want to help people in our local area, have a look at our Volunteer page and contact our volunteer coordinator.
Scott Lewis, Loaves & Fishes Volunteer and Board Member, talking about our current volunteer need for help with Open Pantry sessions:
286 families served in the 2017 Thanksgiving Dinner Distribution
Thanks to the generosity of the community, 286 families received all of the fixings for their Thanksgiving meal! Together we provided not only the gift of food, but the promise of hope.
